What’s with the name?

When Omkar thought of starting a studio, he laughed to himself - of course the world needed yet another branding studio. Same Difference. Wait. Omkar Sane. Sane Difference. Voila. The name gave the purpose and the vision: bring a sane difference to lives.

Why Sane Difference?

Somewhere on the 156th slide in a dimly lit, cold, conference room Omkar saw others nod along to a presentation that nobody was quite following. The industry had discovered that if you make brand strategy sound complicated enough, people stop questioning it. We decided not to do that.

Initially, Omkar Sane, the Founder and Creative Director of the studio turned work he got into work. Today, the studio gets work for its own work. He can retire though he shows no signs of doing this.

No. We believe what we do is problem-solving. A pitch expects someone to solve a problem without being told the problem and then they are judged against that. The whole thing is insincere and reeks of lack of trust. We’d rather sit at home and read.
